Meet the experts who make up our team.

Angela Trapani
PMHNP-BC
Angela Trapani is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has worked in the field of Child Development and Psychiatry in Eau Claire, WI, for over 30 years. She offers a unique perspective on mental health management, having raised a child with significant special needs and mental health diagnoses. Having walked the same path clients are on, Angela offers information, treatment options, and answers to questions she wished had been provided to her own family through her journey through mental health treatment.
Angela decided to become an independent practitioner so she can focus on patients the way she feels is needed, rather than conforming to business models that regulate practice guidelines, which often leaves clients feeling unheard and rushed. She recognizes each client needs a personalized approach to managing their issues, as well as time to discuss all of their concerns and issues.
Access to mental health care within our community's major systems is in crisis. It is not okay to expect someone dealing with mental illness to wait 6 to 12 months to have access to psychiatric services, and even more are denied the choice of waiting for services, with access being denied completely. Angela and her staff provide a warm, welcoming environment where each person feels supported and cared for.
Hope Psychiatric Services provides direct-pay psychiatric services with no referrals needed. We aim to make people feel their needs are understood and that they are not just another appointment on our schedule.
Angela's work has become a mission to help others, not just a job. At Hope Psychiatric Services, you will be offered a hand of support to help you take the next step and let your hope be renewed.
